TAG Festival (August 2026 Third/Fourth) - The Junk-Yard Jedis: Masters of the Upcycle
Calling all young inventors! Do you see a spaceship where others see a milk carton? In this hands-on, high-energy camp, we are turning "trash" into "treasure." Each day, we take one common household item destined for the bin and use the Engineering Design Process to transform it into a functional gadget, a piece of art, or a scientific tool. Great inventors must also be great communicators! Students will choose their most successful invention and create a professional advertisement to sell it. They will learn the "Art of Persuasion," practicing how to highlight features, solve customer problems, and pitch their ideas with confidence. No screens, no limits—just pure imagination and tinkering. Your student will leave with four unique "Upcycled Masterpieces" and a new perspective on the world!
