In this specialized camp, students will work in teams to design and build motorized battle robots that operate mechanical lifts, drills, ramps, and more. Through a series of practice battles and time reconfiguring their robots, students will design robots capable of overcoming others. AI & Robotics: Battle of Bots (Gr. 1-8) by Compuchild

Build robots that think for themselves! Students explore artificial intelligence and robotics through hands-on programming and engineering challenges. Using educational robotics kits and beginner-friendly coding platforms, campers create robots that navigate mazes, respond to sensors, and complete missions independently while learning AI concepts like pattern recognition and decision-making. Through robot battles, obstacle courses, and collaborative problem-solving, students develop coding skills, computational thinking, and STEM confidence. Students will be divided into two age-appropriate groups to ensure optimal learning—younger campers (Grades 1-3) focus on foundational concepts while older students (Grades 3-6) tackle advanced programming and machine learning basics.
