Princeton Review SAT® Prep Class
Students who actively participate in the Princeton Review course significantly increase their performance on their SAT, thus increasing their opportunities to gain admission to college and universities, and earn scholarships and entry into select programs. This virtual course focuses exclusively on the math and verbal skills specific to the SAT.Before you register, please be aware of the following expectations: Student should only register to attend one session. Student must attend all days of the course. Student will receive log on instructions from their instructor, and must log on daily by the designated start time for their course and stay every day for the duration of their designated course time. A firm commitment from both the student and their family is required in order to maximize the impact of the course. The fee for this course is $125.00 (reduced from $700.00!) and includes all materials and instruction. Every student is welcome. If financial aid is required to offset the cost, please complete the Scholarship Request Form. Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We have limited seats available. Based on the success of previous courses, we anticipate that the available seats will fill quickly. No refunds will be issued for Cancellation Request Forms submitted after the 2nd class date. A materials fee of $75 cannot be refunded after materials have been picked up.

Learn Math While Playing Chess! Our Chess Math Genius Lab merges math problem-solving with chess strategy, making learning fun, challenging, and intellectually stimulating. Students explore patterns, probability, logic, and geometry while sharpening their critical thinking, decision-making, and strategic-planning skills through chess. Along with learning and improving their chess fundamentals, students will also learn essential UIL Chess Puzzle and UIL Chess strategies. This includes UIL-style problem-solving techniques, test-taking strategies, and timed-practice skills that help students build speed, accuracy, and confidence. By applying math concepts to gameplay, students strengthen both their chess skills and their mathematical reasoning—developing analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities that extend far beyond the chessboard. Students will also participate in mini-tournaments and friendly competitions, giving them the opportunity to test strategies, build confidence, and practice strong sportsmanship. Each week, your team will tackle a new digital STEM-themed escape challenge—solving puzzles, cracking codes, and racing against neighboring schools to claim the top spot on the Leaderboard.
