iPianoLab is the fresh, fun way to learn piano or keyboard, RIGHT AT SCHOOL! iPianoLab sets up a portable keyboard lab right at your school with a keyboard and headphones for each child enrolled. The class lasts for 1 hour after school and teaches students all the keyboard basics WHILE learning tunes they love! While most traditional methods make students sit through months of drills and baby tunes, iPianoLab students learn counting, fingering, note reading, etc WHILE playing tunes they really love! This Round Rock ISD Knights Chess Tournament is our most competitive tournament. It is open to any student who is enrolled within the District in grades 2-8. Students must have a current membership to the United States Chess Federation to participate. Previous tournament experience is recommended for all participants. The Knights tournament runs from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM on a flexible schedule as rounds finish. After round 1, sections will proceed independently from other sections. We may finish before 4:00 PM. Check in for the Knights tournaments begins at 7:45 AM Round 1 matches begin at 8:30 AM. (Late arrivals will not be added to Round 1 and will be assigned a forfeit loss.) Rounds take from 40 minutes to 1 hour to run and we proceed as quickly as we can throughout the day. Austin Society of Karate teaches American Karate with an emphasis on self-defense, self-esteem, and self-confidence. A Black uniform is required for intermediate and advanced students and can be purchased from instructor or outside source. Optional opportunities for advancement in the program require additional fees for tournaments and belt tests. Grades 1-6 Additional fees are required for tournaments and belt tests.

In our program, we focus on developing all four core language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Our goal is to make learning Mandarin fun and engaging for kids through a variety of interactive activities, including conversation practice, projects, reading, and book writing. Each unit features a video project where students present what they’ve learned in Mandarin, helping to build their confidence in speaking. We also celebrate traditional Chinese festivals and incorporate STEM activities to inspire students' interest in both the language and culture.
