TAG Festival (August 2026 Fifth & Sixth Grade) - Think. Argue. Persuade.
Give your gifted student four exciting days to sharpen their voice, boost their confidence, and have fun thinking big! This dynamic summer experience is designed for students who love ideas, enjoy a challenge, and want to learn how to argue persuasively and think critically. Through hands-on activities like structured and spontaneous (SPAR) debates, public speaking practice, team challenges, and an introduction to Aristotle’s powerful pillars of Logos, Ethos, and Pathos, campers will learn how to build strong arguments, think on their feet, and communicate with impact. From debating real-world topics to friendly competitions and supportive feedback, students will grow their skills while connecting with like-minded peers who love spirited discussion—all in an engaging, encouraging environment that makes learning feel like play.

Design & Build a Marble Run (Gr. 1-5) by Wicked Workshop Youth Architecture Program
Architecture
Explore Architecture: Design & Build a Marble Run Harness the energy of Marble Run as inspiration for architectural ideas like itinerary, sequential movement and designing moments of interest. With tons of inspiration from the game, we’ll introduce students to real architectural projects inspired by Marble Run as well as close relatives like Rube Goldberg’s simple machines, the roller coaster, amusement park and water park design specialties. Learners will design and build a usable space for people, animals (or marbles) as they experiment with inclined planes, ramps, slides, funnels and water wheels; rethinking how everyday games generate design ideas for architecture. Design & Build a Minecraft Skyblock (Gr. 1-5) by Wicked Workshop Youth Architecture Program
Architecture
Explore Architecture: Design & Build a Minecraft Skyblock A test of survival! SkyBlock is one of the most popular Minecraft maps ever created. The concept behind the game is simple; spawn on a floating island in the sky and use what’s at hand to survive! Join us as we explore the notion of limited resources, the current sand shortage and the story of cubism in architecture to create a unique hand-built version of our own Skyblock. This is a maker-based class using crafting materials; no electronics are used.
