Super Star Island (Gr. 1-5) by Challenge Island
Calling all trailblazers, groundbreakers, and universe-shakers to Challenge Island's SUPER STAR ISLAND! You and your STEAM Team will take a STEAMtastic journey through our Challenge Island Hall of Fame from Leonardo Da Vinci to P.T. Barnum to Venus and Serena to a galaxy of other game-changers. Super Star Island shines as bright as a Challenge Island kid, so grab onto your inner star and join us for this stellarly cross-curricular engineering adventure! COST: FREE GRADE LEVELS: 1st - 5th CLASS TIME: 3:00 - 4:00 PM SESSION LENGTH: 8 weeks *Transportation is not provided following this class. Students may either (1) return to the YMCA Afterschool program if registered, (2) walk or bike home if allowed, or (3) be picked up at 4:00 p.m. by a parent/guardian.
