Men's Adult Basketball (Men 18+)
Join our recreational basketball classes. New teams are chosen each week "pick-up" style. We offer a fast fun pickup style game that gives everyone equal playing time. Class size is limited so please sign up early. Only those who pre-register may play. Tuesday night at Canyon Vista Middle School gym 8-9:30pm.

TAG Festival (August 2026 Fifth & Sixth Grade) - American Sign Language (ASL) for All
Dive into a new language with ASL for All! This class covers the basics of the alphabet and numbers while building a foundation of essential everyday signs. You won’t just be learning how to sign; you’ll also explore the vibrant world of Deaf culture and discover the stories of famous Deaf trailblazers. It’s a fun, visual way for gifted learners to challenge their brains and pick up a meaningful new skill! Note: Students will need their Round Rock ISD student issued Chromebooks and chargers for this session.

Practice the moves and learn about strategies to win. If you already know...no problem! Learn and practice chess tactics, openings, and gambits to improve your game. What You'll Do: Learn the Rules: Understand the basics of chess, including the movements of each piece and how to set up the board. Explore History: Discover the fascinating history of chess and how the game has evolved over time. Master Strategies: Explore various strategies to enhance your gameplay, including tactics, opening principles, and endgame techniques. Practice with Peers: Challenge yourself by playing games with fellow campers and applying new strategies in real-time. Board Game Designers (Gr. 3-6) by RRISD Teacher

Board Game Designers Camp is a hands-on, creative 4-day enrichment experience for students entering grades 3-6 where kids become real game designers! Students explore what makes games fun and fair, then imagine a theme, design a game board, create pieces and cards, and write clear rules. Through collaboration, playtesting, and iteration, campers learn strategy, problem-solving, and creativity. The week ends with a Board Game Expo where students are invited to play their original games designed from scratch. Every child goes home with a fully finished, one-of-a-kind board game they’re proud of!

Printmaking (Gr. 5-7) by RRISD Teacher

In this summer camp you will design and create your own rubber carving block. Artists will learn about printmaking and how to safely use the gouge to carve into the rubber block. Artists will carve designs into the block, leaving raised areas to ink. The inked block is then pressed onto paper to create a relief print. This soft-cut linocut is a relief printing technique similar to using traditional linoleum.

Love brain teasers and challenges? In Puzzle Masters Lab,studentstackle daily logic games, pattern puzzles, riddles, and hands-on building challenges. Campers strengthen critical thinking,spatial reasoning, and perseverance while solving and creating their own puzzles. From logic grids and tiling designs to lateral thinking mysteries, every day brings a new challenge. The week ends with a Puzzle Showcase where students share the original puzzles they designed for others to solve!
