Our multi-sports program is designed to keep children active and engaged through physical fitness, interactive sports lessons and fun games! We focus on soccer, baseball, football, basketball, and volleyball. The activities allow for maximum opportunities to develop pro-social behaviors and positive movement experiences. Our classes are designed to allow children of all athletic abilities to participate in a non-competitive environment. The class will be held inside the gym. Students build confidence and strong communication and critical thinking skills through public speaking, persuasive writing, storytelling, and structured policy debate. They learn to express ideas clearly, construct persuasive arguments, and explore real-world topics and ethical dilemmas. Through impromptu speaking, debate practice, and TED-style presentations, students strengthen reasoning, stage presence, and leadership while learning to respectfully consider different perspectives. The program culminates in a Public Speaking & Policy Debate Showcase, where students deliver speeches and participate in a championship debate demonstrating the skills developed during the program. Chess makes thinking fun. The persistence, focus, logic and cause/effect analysis skills they need get sharpened over an entertaining game.
