Youth Enrichment - After School
Men's Adult Basketball (Men 18+)
Join our recreational basketball classes. New teams are chosen each week "pick-up" style. We offer a fast fun pickup style game that gives everyone equal playing time. Class size is limited so please sign up early. Only those who pre-register may play. Tuesday night at Canyon Vista Middle School gym 8-9:30pm.

Adult Intermediate Tennis (Age 18+)
The class will continue to build basic stroke development in a game base structure, rallying and keeping score. 10 classes are confirmed, but 12 dates are listed. 2 dates might be adjusted due to campus tournaments. Mr. Jacques will notify via email after the first class date. This class will be at McNeil High School tennis courts Spring 2024.Required Equipment to bring: Tennis Racket and one can of balls.

Whether you're a beginner eager to try something new or a programmer looking to take your skills to the next level, this class is for you! Python serves as an excellent entry point to gain proficiency in a programming language widely utilized in the professional world. In this class, we'll utilize Codesters, an environment that allows you to transition from drag-and-drop to typed code. For students just starting out, we'll provide a user-friendly introduction to Python and core programming concepts, such as variables, loops, functions, and conditionals. Returning students will dive into advanced topics, including object-oriented development. Round Rock ISD Hackathon with CodeWizardsHQ (Gr. 6-12 )

Join a fun one-day event for middle and high school students to collaborate and solve real-world problems using code. Students get the opportunity to develop their problem-solving skills, receive valuable mentorship from industry professionals, and achieve district-wide recognition. The hackathon takes place on Saturday, March 29th from 8:00am to 5:00pm at Walsh Middle School. Limited to 125 students. No coding experience is required! Registration for the event will open Wednesday, February 26th at 8am. What you need: Bring your Chromebook, fully charged. All other supplies are provided. No refund after March 7, 2025. To Volunteer to help during the event you must complete the 2024-2025 RRISD VOLUNTEER application before March 10,2025.
