We teach our young learners to first understand how Minecraft works and while they play their favorite game Minecraft they apply code to make the game more fun. They use icon/block based coding blocks that help them to code and also encourage to read the blocks and what they do. Students must bring their charged District Chromebook to class each week. Learn to code a cool robot! In this course, students will learn the basics of programming a robot and discover how the robot’s hardware components, such as sensors, work. Using a block-based, visual programming platform, young coders will be introduced to fundamental concepts, including code structure, variables, and loops. They'll harness these concepts, together with problem-solving and creative thinking skills, to program their robot to tackle mission challenges. These challenges include avoiding obstacles, sensing and responding to sound, and autonomously navigating a maze. Join us and unleash your inner robot code!
