Kinder Readiness Camp (for incoming kinder students) by Round Rock ISD Teacher
Each week your child will learn about a famous children's author. All of the activities will include language arts and math activities.Kindergarten is just around the corner. This camp will allow your child to become accustomed to a typical Kindergarten day with a variety of learning activities. We will practice basic skills such as using scissors, writing their name, and building basic fine motor skills that your child needs throughout the typical Kinder day. Your child will experience hands on learning with letters, sounds, reading, writing, and math skills. Your child will also experience how the world around us can help grow our mindset. Come join the fun and let's get ready for Kindergarten. Student must be 5 yrs old by Sept. 1, 2024

In Intro to Python, the first course in Wizard Level 1 of our high school program, students are introduced to foundational programming concepts such as functions, conditional statements, variables, data types, looping, and data structures. These are the basics that any programmer must internalize before moving on to more advanced topics. They’ll learn and practice these concepts by building practical apps and games using the core Python language in our custom online programming editor. After completing Intro to Python, students are ready to move on to the next course in our structured curriculum: Fundamentals of Web Development. This course is intended for high-school students with no or minimal structured experience in learning a real-world, text-based programming language. This is an interactive, LIVE class taught by an instructor in real-time (not recorded videos).
