Say goodbye to screens and hello to active collaboration, problem-solving, and tons of fun! Dive into a world of hands-on learning and fun with the Challenge Island! This magical island (which ties into our bestselling book, Race Across Anaconda Swamp) takes STEAM Teams on an unforgettable journey through the animal-packed layers of the Amazon Rainforest. Jaguar’s Claw, Anaconda Squeeze, Monkey Swings, and Rainforest Island Zoo are some of the wildly exciting destinations on Rainforest Island!Challenge Island is a high energy, high interest, hands-on enrichment program on the cutting edge of S.T.E.A.M. Education, Project-Based Learning, and 21st Century Skills. Every semester of Challenge Island takes place on a unique thematic island. Each lesson addresses multiple Common Core, State, and Next Generation Science Standards, as well as Social Emotional Learning Standards. COST: FREE GRADE LEVELS: 1st - 5th CLASS TIME: 3:00 - 4:00 PM SESSION LENGTH: 8 weeks *Transportation is not provided following this class. Late Pick-up Fee
Youth Enrichment - After School
Thank you for your continued participation in our after-school Enrichment program. We understand that you were unable to pick up your child on time. Enrichment after school classes end at 4:00 p.m. In accordance with the policy agreed to during registration, a late pick-up fee will be charged for any time beyond 15 minute grace period after class dismissal. After 4:00p.m. a fee of $15.00 will be charged for the next 15 minutes, followed by an additional $1.00 per minute thereafter. The fee is due at the time of pick-up and applies per student. The appropriate late fee has been applied to your account. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Join us for a six-week enrichment adventure on Mondays, from October 27 to December 8, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. This is an introductory class for students who would like to learn to crochet small stuffed animals, also known as amigurumi. Students will learn the basics of stitching and sewing to complete a design. Students will get to keep their completed project, but other materials will need to be kept with the instructor (crochet hooks, needles, stitch markers, etc). eSports is a great way to improve your child's communication skills and increase group collaboration. Playing games such as Minecraft and Rocket League requires strategy from all players and will help develop the thought process behind problem-solving and critical thinking. Each session will consist of Minecraft and Rocket League curriculum. Join us for a six-week enrichment adventure exploring the art of paper folding! The Art Club meets on Thursdays, from October 30 to December 11, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Join us for a creative adventure in the BCE Art Club! Students will explore a variety of art styles and techniques—painting, drawing, collage, and more—while learning about famous artists and expressing their own unique ideas. Each week brings a new opportunity designed to spark imagination, build confidence, and encourage creativity. We will meet on Thursdays from October 30th to December 11th. This Camp focuses on the whole child, mind, body, and character through engaging activities, teamwork challenges, and meaningful conversations. Some activities to include: beautification projects, basic cooking, tool knowledge, money management, gardening, and much more... Artists will explore basic handbuilding techniques while having the freedom to create both functional and imaginative pieces. Ceramics Club Highlights: Handbuilding Techniques - Learn the fundamentals of ceramics with techniques like pinch pots, coil building, and slab construction. Tool Exploration - Use a variety of fun tools to texture, carve, and decorate your pieces, adding personal flair to each creation. Artistic Creations - Craft a range of unique items, from practical bowls and cups to one-of-a-kind sculptures.
