In our Young Entrepreneurship class, through engaging lessons and hands-on activities, students will learn perseverance, hard work, and the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Furthermore, they will explore financial literacy topics such as budgeting, spending, and savings, as they learn to differentiate between their wants and needs. Students will embark on an exciting journey of exploration as they participate in various entrepreneurial projects, from creating their own businesses—such as running a lemonade stand, cookie bakeries, or toy swap shops—to organizing outdoor adventures. These activities develop vital skills like creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and responsibility. As part of the program, students will culminate their learning journey with a poster presentation and a thrilling trade fair, showcasing their entrepreneurial endeavors and competing for recognition as the best presenter and seller, culminating in an exciting shopping spree to reward their achievements.
