LEGO® Engineering & Coding: Mission Impossible Aspiring secret agents in "Mission Impossible" will build and program LEGO® robots to tackle exciting missions. Using gears, pulleys, and sensors, campers will design spy tools that move, detect, and interact to complete tasks like finding hidden objects or navigating obstacles. Each mission combines creativity and STEM skills, offering a fun challenge for every camper. These hands-on projects develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, turning imaginative ideas into functional creations. Get ready to build, program, and battle at LEGO® Battle Bots! This exhilarating course is perfect for young engineers and LEGO® enthusiasts eager to dive into the world of robotics and competition. In this specialized camp, students will work in teams to design and build motorized battle robots that operate mechanical lifts, drills, ramps, and more. Through a series of practice battles and time reconfiguring their robots, students will design robots capable of overcoming others. The robots will eventually battle and the designers of the “last robot standing” for each round will be the winners. New challenges each week! Build robots that think for themselves! Students explore artificial intelligence and robotics through hands-on programming and engineering challenges. Using educational robotics kits and beginner-friendly coding platforms, campers create robots that navigate mazes, respond to sensors, and complete missions independently while learning AI concepts like pattern recognition and decision-making. Through robot battles, obstacle courses, and collaborative problem-solving, students develop coding skills, computational thinking, and STEM confidence. Students will be divided into two age-appropriate groups to ensure optimal learning—younger campers (Grades 1-3) focus on foundational concepts while older students (Grades 3-6) tackle advanced programming and machine learning basics. **New offering** DroneTogether is offering the most innovative game design and team activity camp in STEM Education. Experience flying drones will be needed in this camp. Each day, we will present problems to solve, challenges to master or games to win and the students must work together as they use their flying skills to find success. This is a more advanced and fast-paced flying camp and it's very hands-on. Let’s learn how to fly! Come have fun spending time in one of the fastest growing spaces in technology - drone flying. So many kids want to learn more about this innovative technology and we welcome all flying levels into our beginner program. Spike Prime Advanced: Let's Compete Each day, students will participate in team building activities and receive a team briefing for they day's challenges. Daily challenges will help students develop skills and knowledge to complete the culminating project of designing and navigating an obstacle course.To be most successful, in this advanced level course students should have experience with the Scratch coding platform and experience with reading instructions to build complex LEGO models. Spike Prime Introduction: Let the Games Begin! Each day, students will participate in team building activities and receive a team briefing for daily challenges. Daily challenges will help students develop skills and knowledge to build their designing and coding skills. On the final day students will build a project to showcase their new skills. DroneTogether is blending its two most popular camps into one - drone flying and robotics. Our students will get to use several different robots throughout the week and have an opportunity to become an engineer by building their own robot in a small group. We also mix our classic drone flying experience into these classes and help the students advance their flying skills from basic to advanced, with all their favorite obstacles, challenges, games and course flying included.
