Elevate your caregiving skills by joining our Babysitting and Child Care class today! We cover a variety of topics that will improve your child’s ability to respond to emergencies, keep themselves and others safe, and provide exceptional child care. Our certified instructors lead engaging class discussions, hands-on skills training, and fun role-playing activities that will prepare your child to become one of the most capable, trusted and in-demand sitters in your neighborhood. Summer Strings Ensemble for Violin, Viola, & Cello (Gr. 6-12) by RRISD Teacher
Music
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced musician, this camp will allow you to develop your ensemble skills and enjoy the camaraderie of making music together. This camp promises an enriching and fun experience for all participants. CAMP HIGHLIGHTS: Ensemble Playing: Learn the fundamentals of playing in an ensemble, including listening skills, coordination, and blending with other instruments. All Skill Levels Welcome: Whether you're just starting out or have been playing for years, everyone will find a place to grow and improve. Instrument & Stand Requirements: Participants should bring their own violin, viola, or cello, along with a music stand. Group Music-making: Collaborate with other musicians to perform and enjoy playing in a supportive group atmosphere. Fun and Community: Beyond learning new skills, the camp offers a chance to meet other musicians, build confidence, and create lasting musical memories. This is an ideal opportunity for young musicians to expand their abilities and experience the joy of ensemble performance. Needed Supplies: Students will need to bring their own instrument, bow, rosin, case, rag, and end pin stop (for cello) Sheet music will be provided.
