Join us for a hands-on journey into the world of fiber arts, where you’ll transform simple materials into beautiful, handmade treasures! This camp is perfect for young artists who enjoy crafting and want to learn fun, practical skills that they can use for a lifetime. What You’ll Learn & Create: Hand-Stitching Basics – Learn simple sewing techniques to create decorative and functional fabric projects. You'll practice threading a needle, tying knots, and making basic stitches to sew small crafts. Hand-Embroidery – Add color and detail to fabric using embroidery floss and fun stitches like backstitch, satin stitch, and seed stitch. Design and embellish your own custom piece! Needlefelting Magic – Turn fluffy wool into adorable 3D creations by shaping and sculpting it with special barbed needles. Make tiny animals, fun keychains, or miniature decorations! By the end of the camp, all students will have completed the five-book minimum required to vote for their favorite title during the school year.
