Do you love learning about the strangest animals on the planet? Do you want to know the weirdest things common animals do? Come join a veteran RRISD librarian and journey into the shocking and unusual animal adaptations you NEED to know!

Camp Highlights:

  • Engaging Book Discussions – Discover a variety of books about all kinds of weird animals
  • Writing & Research – Strengthen literacy skills with fun writing prompts and book/animal-related research activities
  • Hands-on Crafts & Projects – Crafts and hands-on activities about real and potential animals and their strage adaptations
  • Intellectual Curiosity – Follow your curiosity about animals and adaptations with teacher-led inquiry and research
  • LOTS of Dinner Table Conversation – Look out world, we have weird stuff to tell you!

Did you know bullfrogs use their EYEBALLS to push their food from their mouths to their stomachs? Amaze and disgust your friends and family with facts like these when you come to Weird and Wacky Animals!
