TAG Festival (Second & Third Grade) - LEGO® Robotics
This camp is an introduction to Lego Robotics. In this session, students will be exposed to basic coding strategies. Each day they will create at least one project independently after learning the necessary skills. On Thursday, we will host a showcase for students to demonstrate their final project to their families. Note: Students will need their Round Rock ISD student issued Chromebooks and chargers for this session.

Men's Adult Basketball (Men 18+)
Join our recreational basketball classes. New teams are chosen each week "pick-up" style. We offer a fast fun pickup style game that gives everyone equal playing time. Class size is limited so please sign up early. Only those who pre-register may play. Tuesday night at Pearson Ranch MIddle School 8:00pm-9:30pm

Whether you’re racing through an Egyptian tomb, climbing Mt. Everest, or escaping Houdini’s haunted house, you’re in for a series of hands-on challenges and collaborative, brainy adventures! Each day, you and your crew will tackle a different theme by performing physical challenges, completing crafts and projects, and cracking secret codes to unlock clues for the day's adventure. You'll then be plunged into the escape room puzzle, working as a team to solve the mystery in a fast-paced race against the clock. Will you beat yesterday's time? Spike Prime Advanced: Let's Compete Each day, students will participate in team building activities and receive a team briefing for they day's challenges. Daily challenges will help students develop skills and knowledge to complete the culminating project of designing and navigating an obstacle course.To be most successful, in this advanced level course students should have experience with the Scratch coding platform and experience with reading instructions to build complex LEGO models. Spike Prime Introduction: Let the Games Begin! Each day, students will participate in team building activities and receive a team briefing for daily challenges. Daily challenges will help students develop skills and knowledge to complete the culminating project of designing games which can be played with the robots. In this introductory level course students will become familiar with the basics of drag and drop coding in the Scratch platform and develop experience reading and using instructions to build LEGO models. Robotics
Students participating in this mid level introductory robotics course will be working with VEX EXP robots. Over the course of the days students will learn the basics of design and and use basic hand tools to build robots in a small group. By the end of the week they will be able to code their robots to participate in challenges or games.
