TAG Festival (Second & Third Grade) - LEGO® Robotics
This camp is an introduction to Lego Robotics. In this session, students will be exposed to basic coding strategies. Each day they will create at least one project independently after learning the necessary skills. On Thursday, we will host a showcase for students to demonstrate their final project to their families. Note: Students will need their Round Rock ISD student issued Chromebooks and chargers for this session.

Men's Adult Basketball (Men 18+)
Join our recreational basketball classes. New teams are chosen each week "pick-up" style. We offer a fast fun pickup style game that gives everyone equal playing time. Class size is limited so please sign up early. Only those who pre-register may play. Tuesday night at Pearson Ranch MIddle School 8:00pm-9:30pm

Did you know ketchup was once sold as a medicine? Or that sea otters sleep while holding hands? Join us for fascinating facts about the little known (but really interesting!) parts of our world. Campers will increase knowledge in areas such as current events, historical events, science, country customs, and more. Each day, students will use math, science, literature, and hands-on activities to thoroughly explore a fascinating fact. In this session, students will discover the magic of turning sunlight into electricity. This hands-on experiment not only teaches the principles of renewable energy but also allows your child to build their own Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells! Get ready for an engaging and enlightening adventure in science and technology! Poetry and music both use language and sound to create meaning and evoke emotion. In this summer camp, we will be exploring poetry through music lyrics by popular artists like Taylor Swift. Students will have an opportunity to analyze her music for literary elements, and take what they learn to create their own poetry/songs. We will have lots of fun creating, singing, performing and writing!

In an artful interweaving of mathematics and literature, this camp "jumps off" from one of the well-known Frog and Toad stories, The Lost Button. The story leads to free exploration of mathematical concepts such as sorting, classifying, predicting, graphing, and estimation. Students will also have an opportunity to develop cooperation and strategic-thinking skills through group projects and games.

Not only will students use their creativity to assemble their own marble maze, but they will also exercise their motor skills while they navigate the marble through the maze!

TAG Festival (Second & Third Grade) - Forensic Science: The Case of the Missing Popsicle

This session will provide an opportunity for students to observe a classroom crime scene and to use forensics to solve it! We will use three types of evidence in our investigation: fingerprint analysis, ink analysis (chromatography), and DNA analysis. Each day we will do an experiment that brings us closer to solving the crime of the missing popsicle!

By the end of this session, students will have designed a multi-page website using Google Sites. Students will share their website with other campers and create a survey using Google Forms to get peer feedback. With this information, students will improve and refine their final product.
