TAG Festival (August 2026 Fifth & Sixth Grade) - Think. Argue. Persuade.
Give your gifted student four exciting days to sharpen their voice, boost their confidence, and have fun thinking big! This dynamic summer experience is designed for students who love ideas, enjoy a challenge, and want to learn how to argue persuasively and think critically. Through hands-on activities like structured and spontaneous (SPAR) debates, public speaking practice, team challenges, and an introduction to Aristotle’s powerful pillars of Logos, Ethos, and Pathos, campers will learn how to build strong arguments, think on their feet, and communicate with impact. From debating real-world topics to friendly competitions and supportive feedback, students will grow their skills while connecting with like-minded peers who love spirited discussion—all in an engaging, encouraging environment that makes learning feel like play.

Join our recreational basketball classes. New teams are chosen each week "pick-up" style. We offer a fast fun pickup style game that gives everyone equal playing time. Students participating in this full-day camp will strengthen their public speaking and presentation skills through engaging activities that will cultivate creativity and self-confidence. Students will brainstorm a topic, write a short "presentation script", design a slide deck to display their main talking points, and practice their delivery for the final presentation. I will create pass ports for the students and we will dive deep into different cultures daily. We’ll do cultures like Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Japanese and others. Each day we’ll start by reading and researching the country and looking at cultural norms and traditions. Then we’ll look at a dish we can make that will be a no make food. For example, for Mexico we can do a salsa recipe. Everything would be prepared safe and no make. Allergies will be taken into consideration as well. Explore Architecture: Design & Build Castles & Creatures Explore castles from the real world and delve into the magic of fictional castles like Hogwarts, Castle Doom, Minas Tirith and Howl's Moving Castle. Students will design and build their own unique castle inspired by Gothic architecture with secret chambers, houses of potions, dungeons, shifting walls, drawbridges and shadow gardens. Make space for fantastic beasts and a species of nocturnal creatures known as gargoyles that turn to stone during the day.
