Want to be a percussionist? Interested in drumming? In BEAT BUCKETS students will develop their inner rhythm by playing along with popular songs of different genres such as hip hop, latin, rock, pop, techno, world music, African rhythms, DJ beats, etc. This will help your child to learn various instruments in the future especially marching percussion, Marimba, and all kinds of percussion. This class is a great step in preparing for middle school band. Class Description: Students will learn beats and rhythms from all over the world with radio hit songs through bucket drumming. Rhythm is the foundation for all music. This video class will prepare students for playing other instruments in the future and is being offered at a very low price. Students will watch videos and play along at home. Videos can be watched as many times as needed until the beats are learned and mastered. Students who have done BEAT BUCKETS previously will continue with new lessons. This course is an introduction to American Sign Language. It creates a visual-gestural environment that introduces ASL grammar and vocabulary without presenting English equivalents. This course includes interactive activities, cultural awareness education, and individual feedback.

Students will demonstrate an understanding and application of the techniques used in formal public speaking including listening skills, speech preparation and research methods.
