For our advancing robot engineers, join the elite group of recruits to become a spy-in-training. Agents in training will receive their super-secret mission during each camp and then learn to build and code a robot that will have to move through obstacles to retrieve top-secret documents. They will be challenged to incorporate technology concepts, engineering principles, and programming using the LEGO© robotics Construction Kits. Campers will learn how to break or make codes, learn coding, surveillance techniques, critical thinking, and solve logic puzzles. Each camp has new missions! Advanced Drone Flying Camp (Gr. 3-6) by Drone Together

DroneTogether is offering a faster and more advanced drone flying camp for any camper who has taken a beginner camp or has experience flying drones outside of school. This camp offers most of the favorite flying activities from the beginner camp, but brings in many larger drones with more capabilities. One of the most unique drones we use are the Tello Drones, which are the best educational coding drones on the market. Our teachers use this drone with a DroneBlocks coding program to provide a very unique coding and programming experience for campers. All equipment is provided, so come ready to have fun and take on new challenges in this exciting and fast-paced STEM camp. ***All campers will get an E99 drone kit to take home on the final day of camp*** Prerequisite: Camper must have already completed a beginner camp or after school class at Round Rock ISD Enrichment in the last 12 months. Unleash your child’s creativity in 3D with our engaging modeling and 3D printing course. Students will learn the foundations of 3D design by creating virtual models. Our experienced instructors guide them step-by-step through the process of designing objects for 3D printing, allowing them to bring their unique ideas to life. We use easy to use, intuitive and engaging software to allow young students to transition from drawing in 2D to designing in 3D in minutes – no CAD or computer experience necessary! Our Little Coders camp is an opportunity for young children to develop their computational thinking skills, build their first programs, and have fun with new friends! The curriculum is designed specifically for early readers and takes into account cognitive abilities as well as the attention span typical for ages 5-7. We use age-appropriate online tools, including Lightbot, Kodable, and Scratch to introduce basic coding skills. After the camp, students will be able to share their projects with family and friends and continue programming at home with their Coding with Kids Scratch account.
