TGA is an introductory program that has partnered with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) to create a fun and innovative tennis program for your child that takes place after school on campus. TGA’s elementary school curriculum includes games, drills and physical fitness activities that improve motor skills, agility and hand-eye coordination. Every TGA class focuses on academic concepts developed by educational experts, the rules and etiquette of tennis and skill development. Join Mad About Hula Hoops each week for exciting hula hoop inspired games and waist hooping mastery. Students will learn cool hula hoop tricks and engage in partner moves + teamwork. Kids also have the chance to learn a simple and fun routine that they will showcase at our semester halftime show with TEXAS STATE (Date and Time TBD! In our final class, we will host an LED and glow in the dark party. All Students enrolled in this class are invited to perform for a Texas State Men's Basketball Halftime Show on February 28th. They will learn a simple routine to perform at the game, along with the last day of class. TGA, in partnership with Franklin, has developed a program curriculum designed to develop young players’ skills and passion for one of America’s fastest growing sports. We use equipment and courts tailored to the size and ability of young players making it easier for kids to hold, swing, and connect with the ball. We teach & develop the fundamentals of pickleball through easy-to-understand concepts & interactive games that are fun and engaging. Using skill-based drills that can be done anywhere (indoors or outdoors, at school, or on the pickleball court), students develop the fundamentals, explore academic concepts through game play, and practice life skills — such as sportsmanship and respect. The class lasts for 1 hour after school and teaches students all the keyboard basics WHILE learning tunes they love! While most traditional methods make students sit through months of drills and baby tunes, iPianoLab students learn counting, fingering, note reading, etc WHILE playing tunes they really love! Austin Society of Karate teaches American Karate with an emphasis on self-defense, self-esteem, and self-confidence. A Black uniform is required for intermediate and advanced students and can be purchased from instructor or outside source. Students who actively participate in the Princeton Review course significantly increase their performance on their SAT, thus increasing their opportunities to gain admission to college and universities, and earn scholarships and entry into select programs. This virtual course focuses exclusively on the math and verbal skills specific to the SAT. Before you register, please be aware of the following expectations: Student should only register to attend one session. Student must attend all days of the course. Student will receive log on instructions from their instructor, and must log on daily by the designated start time for their course and stay every day for the duration of their designated course time. A firm commitment from both the student and their family is required in order to maximize the impact of the course. The fee for this course is $125.00 (reduced from $700.00!) and includes all materials and instruction. Every student is welcome. If financial aid is required to offset the cost, please complete the Scholarship Request Form. Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We have limited seats available. Based on the success of previous courses, we anticipate that the available seats will fill quickly. No refunds will be issued for Cancellation Request Forms submitted after the 2nd class date. A materials fee of $75 cannot be refunded after materials have been picked up.
