Kinder Readiness Camp (for incoming kinder students) by Round Rock ISD Teacher
Each week your child will learn about a famous children's author. All of the activities will include language arts and math activities.Kindergarten is just around the corner. This camp will allow your child to become accustomed to a typical Kindergarten day with a variety of learning activities. We will practice basic skills such as using scissors, writing their name, and building basic fine motor skills that your child needs throughout the typical Kinder day. Your child will experience hands on learning with letters, sounds, reading, writing, and math skills. Your child will also experience how the world around us can help grow our mindset. Come join the fun and let's get ready for Kindergarten. Student must be 5 yrs old by Sept. 1, 2024

Princeton Review SAT® Prep Class - ONLINE CLASS
Students who actively participate in the Princeton Review course significantly increase their performance on their SAT, thus increasing their opportunities to gain admission to college and universities, and earn scholarships and entry into select programs. This virtual course focuses exclusively on the math and verbal skills specific to the SAT.Before you register, please be aware of the following expectations: Student should only register to attend one session. Student must attend all days of the course. Student will receive log on instructions from their instructor, and must log on daily by the designated start time for their course and stay every day for the duration of their designated course time. A firm commitment from both the student and their family is required in order to maximize the impact of the course. The fee for this course is $125.00 (reduced from $700.00!) and includes all materials and instruction. Every student is welcome. If financial aid is required to offset the cost, please complete the Scholarship Request Form. Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We have limited seats available. Based on the success of previous courses, we anticipate that the available seats will fill quickly. No refunds will be issued for Cancellation Request Forms submitted after the 2nd class date. Give Me an A Literacy Project (Gr. 1-4) by Round Rock ISD Teacher

The Give Me an A Literacy Project is a reading program that uses a creative approach to achieving literacy skills across multiple genres of English and Language Arts. For students in grades 1-4, the project focuses on learning the fundamentals of reading and writing and establishing reading comprehension and reading fluency in emerging readers. Using the theme song “Give Me an A” as a reading anthem and the children's book "Give Me an A" as a mentor text, young readers can use the literature as a guide and a strategy to practice independent reading.
