Español Activo (Spanish + Movement Hybrid Camp) develops Spanish skills, cultural awareness, and wellness. Morning rotations include Fútbol en Español, Baile Latino, and Zumba en Español, with other sports added per facilities and coach expertise. Activities run mostly in Spanish. Students rotate by age/experience, with choice in larger camps. Afternoons offer hands-on immersion through role-plays, dialogues, songs, and games. All activities are taught by qualified staff. Students who are participating in a full day camp must bring their own nut-free sack lunch, morning and afternoon snack, and water bottle. In Debate & Public Speaking Academy, students develop persuasive speaking, argumentation, and critical thinking skills through engaging, hands-on practice. Campers are introduced to multiple debate formats—including Model UN, Public Forum, and mock trials—while building confidence in research, rhetoric, and rebuttal. Through structured exercises, impromptu speaking games, and current event debates, students learn to think on their feet and communicate with clarity and conviction. They’ll also craft and deliver their own TED-style talks on topics they care about. The program culminates in an in-camp debate showcase judged by instructors, followed by a final presentation and certificate ceremony.
