2026 Summer In-Person Camps

Step back to 1796 and discover the flavors of early America! In this hands-on kids’ cooking class, young chefs will explore recipes from America’s First Cookbook, bake Independence Cake, and taste traditions inspired by the 13 Colonies. From Mount Vernon to Johnny Appleseed’s orchards, we’ll celebrate history through delicious dishes—because We the Kids can cook like the Founding Foodies!

Minimum of 8 students required.

Please note that we only accommodate nut allergies; we are unable to accommodate egg, gluten or other food allergies. To prevent life-threatening reactions, we cannot enroll students who require an EpiPen for severe food allergies other than nuts.
