Teacher Lead Courses
Join us for a six-week enrichment adventure exploring the art of ceramics! This class meets on Thursdays, from October 30 to December 11, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Unleash your creativity and get your hands dirty in this exciting ceramics club! This fun, hands-on experience introduces young artists to the world of clay, where they'll learn to mold, shape, and craft their very own masterpieces. Artists will explore basic handbuilding techniques while having the freedom to create both functional and imaginative pieces.
Ceramics Club Highlights:
Handbuilding Techniques - Learn the fundamentals of ceramics with techniques like pinch pots, coil building, and slab construction.
Tool Exploration - Use a variety of fun tools to texture, carve, and decorate your pieces, adding personal flair to each creation.
Artistic Creations - Craft a range of unique items, from practical bowls and cups to one-of-a-kind sculptures.
Firing and Glazing - Watch your artwork come to life as it’s fired and glazed, resulting in vibrant, polished pieces ready to take home.
This club fosters creativity, self-expression, and teamwork, all while developing fine motor skills and an appreciation for the arts. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your imagination and a sense of adventure! At the end of the club, students will proudly take home their handmade, personalized clay masterpieces.
