Math Maniacs will provide highly engaging math activitiesto help your child battle the "summerslide"! We will work on problem solving skills, boost numerical fluency and deepen conceptual knowledge. Hands-on activities, games and collaborative working will ensure your learner has a fun time while expanding their understanding of math. Students who are participating in a half day morning camp also must bring their own nut-free sack lunch, morning and afternoon snack, and water bottle.

In this one-of-a-kind camp, young chefs will transform the kitchen into a S.T.E.A.M. playground—exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through food. From mixing up chemical reactions in baking to engineering edible structures and measuring with math to ensure every recipe is a tasty experiment waiting to be discovered. Students will strengthen foundational math skills in the four basic operations—addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division—through engaging, hands-on activities. Learning will include kinesthetic movement, fake-money exercises, and physical games such as basketball to reinforce concepts. Students will also create a blanket using recycled fabric to explore geometric concepts including area, perimeter of polygons, combined area, and the circumference of circles.
