Are you ready to unleash your potential as a critical thinkers? In this session, students will study various cases and learn to develop argumentative responses based on text evidence. Students will use the DRAAW + C writing framework used in law schools across the country to write their argument. This class is designed for students who enjoy analyzing facts and having engaging discussions across a variety of topics.Note: Students will need their Round Rock ISD student issued Chromebooks and chargers for this session.

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Join us as we explore the underwater architecture of Bikini Bottom. Inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants, we’ll dive into the landmarks of Bikini Bottom to design our own versions of SpongeBob’s Pineapple house, Squidward’s Tentacles house, Patrick’s Star house and Sandy’s Tree dome along with the Krusty Krab, the Palace of Pranks, Noses ’n Things, Bubble Books and Harvey’s Spatula Emporium. Jump back to 1992 where Mario must reclaim his personal island, Mario Land, from the clutches of his greedy rival Wario. Explore design ideas for the Space Zone, Macro Zone, Turtle Zone, Pumpkin Zone, Mario Zone, and Tree Zone. Use blocks, elevators, barrels, logs, gold coins and tubes to create Mario’s palace where warp pipes lead to hidden areas, shortcuts, secret levels and hidden exits.
