Come learn to rock! Beginner campers will learn to play basic chords and beats, learn to play in time and as a band, learn some recording techniques, and have fun. Campers who already play an instrument will improve their skill and learn how to play as a band. No musical experience required. Drums, guitar, bass guitar, and keyboard will be provided. Campers are welcome to bring their own instruments, including other kinds of instruments which we will incorporate. Photography and Videography Master Class for Kids Campers dive into the exciting world of photography and videography, learning how to capture stunning photos, shoot engaging videos, and tell stories through their lens. Each day blends hands-on projects with professional equipment, creative challenges, and teamwork to help kids discover their unique visual voice where creativity meets technology.. Campers will explore lighting, composition, and editing using tools like Lightroom, Photoshop and Final Cut Pro. As a group, they’ll create a short film and digital portfolio to showcase their work on the final day for family and friends. Build robots that think for themselves! Students explore artificial intelligence and robotics through hands-on programming and engineering challenges. Using educational robotics kits and beginner-friendly coding platforms, campers create robots that navigate mazes, respond to sensors, and complete missions independently while learning AI concepts like pattern recognition and decision-making. Through robot battles, obstacle courses, and collaborative problem-solving, students develop coding skills, computational thinking, and STEM confidence. Students will be divided into two age-appropriate groups to ensure optimal learning—younger campers (Grades 1-3) focus on foundational concepts while older students (Grades 3-6) tackle advanced programming and machine learning basics. Step into the kitchen and experience life behind the counter! Each day, young chefs will “open” a new kind of restaurant—from a neighborhood bakery to a food truck, a cozy bistro, and a gourmet fine dining spot. Campers will shop for ingredients, cook, plate, and serve their creations while learning real culinary skills and restaurant teamwork! Minimum of 8 students required. Aventureros del Español – Half Day Spanish Immersion Camp This is a half-day Spanish immersion camp designed to build Spanish proficiency and global awareness through engaging, hands-on experiences. Students will spend their morning OR afternoon immersed in the Spanish language and learning through songs, stories, role-play, dialogues, games, and structured play. No prior Spanish knowledge is needed but is also welcomed. Campers who have participated in prior Spanish immersion camps with Español Explorers Academy LLC will not have the same learning experience repeated. Learning activities are customized to the students attending the camp. All lead instructors are experienced classroom teachers. Our Spanish immersion camps are for children entering K-5 grades.
