This interactive program immerses students in the exciting worlds of Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, and video game development. Students will build and program AI-powered robots, exploring how they sense, respond, and interact with their environment. Simultaneously, they will design and play their own video games using block-based coding and beginner-friendly AI tools. Through hands-on projects, students will develop problem-solving, creativity, and logical thinking in a fun and engaging environment. By the end of the program, they will have a fully functioning robot and a custom-designed video game, equipping them with foundational skills in technology, coding, and innovation. The class will cover the basics of tennis. The Basic stroke development including the forehand, backhand , serve and volley. 10 classes are confirmed, but 12 dates are listed. 2 dates might be adjusted due to campus tournaments. Learn Math While Playing Chess! Our Chess Math Genius Lab merges math problem-solving with chess strategy, making learning fun, challenging, and intellectually stimulating. Students explore patterns, probability, logic, and geometry while sharpening their critical thinking, decision-making, and strategic-planning skills through chess. Along with learning and improving their chess fundamentals, students will also learn essential UIL Chess Puzzle and UIL Chess strategies. This includes UIL-style problem-solving techniques, test-taking strategies, and timed-practice skills that help students build speed, accuracy, and confidence. By applying math concepts to gameplay, students strengthen both their chess skills and their mathematical reasoning—developing analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities that extend far beyond the chessboard.
