    During the training camp, students receive personalized instruction on each subject of the test.   • ACT Webinar (Gr. 9-12) by Sycamore Learning

    Sycamore Learning Company offers ACT seminars to help students prepare for their upcoming tests. In the 5 hour seminar, students learn specific strategies for each section of the test and receive a study guide to assist them in their studies outside of class. This seminar will help students perform their best on the upcoming ACT test. In class, students will gain knowledge of all the details on how to approach the new ACT exam, and learn many tips and strategies to help them through the test.   • After School Enrichment Late Pick-up Fee

    Thank you for your continued participation in our after-school Enrichment program. We understand that you were unable to pick up your child on time. After school enrichment classes end at 4:00 p.m. In accordance with the policy agreed to during registration, a late pick-up fee will be charged for any time beyond 15 minute grace period after class dismissal. After 4:15 p.m. a fee of $15.00 will be charged for the next 15 minutes, followed by an additional $1.00 per minute thereafter. The fee is due at the time of pick-up and applies per student. The appropriate late fee has been applied to your account. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
  • Knights Chess Tournament

    This Round Rock ISD Knights Chess Tournament is our most competitive tournament. It is open to any student who is enrolled within the District in grades 2-8. Students must have a current membership to the United States Chess Federation to participate. Previous tournament experience is recommended for all participants. The Knights tournament runs from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM on a flexible schedule as rounds finish. After round 1, sections will proceed independently from other sections. We may finish before 4:00 PM. Check in for the Knights tournaments begins at 7:45 AM Round 1 matches begin at 8:30 AM. (Late arrivals will not be added to Round 1 and will be assigned a forfeit loss.) Rounds take from 40 minutes to 1 hour to run and we proceed as quickly as we can throughout the day. Tournament Details: Date: November 16, 2024 Location: Ridgeview Middle School -- 2000 Via Sonoma Trail, Round Rock TX 78665 Sections: Under 800, Round Rock ISD Championship 2-8 (Sections may be added if needed) 5 Rounds Time Control: Game in 30 delay 5 Clocks and boards provided Students who place in the top 6 of their section will receive a certificate.     The Round Rock ISD Pawns Chess Tournament is for true novice chess players who want to experience a formal tournament setting, but aren't ready to commit to having a United States Chess Federation (USCF) membership. It is open to any student who is enrolled within the District in grades 2-8. The Pawns tournament runs from 8:45 AM to 1:30 PM on a flexible schedule as rounds finish. After round 1, sections will proceed independently from other sections. We may finish before 1:30 PM. Check in for the Pawns tournament begins at 8:45 AM Round 1 matches begin at 9:30 AM. (Late arrivals will not be added to Round 1 and will be assigned a forfeit loss.) Rounds take from 20 minutes to 40 minutes to run and we proceed as quickly as we can throughout the day.   • Vendor Peachjar Flyers

    Round Rock ISD Enrichment is offering the option to post vendor camp and class advertising flyers to the Districts' digital advertising platform (PeachJar) from August 1, 2024 - July 31, 2025. The PeachJar platform streamlines distribution of school and community resources directly to families as digital flyers. Flyers may include the regular after-school or online classes being held through Round Rock ISD. Flyers must not include after-school or summer programs held at the same time as Round Rock ISD enrichment classes. A single fee is charged for up to four (4) flyers posted on Peachjar during the specified time frame. This opportunity is completely optional.     eSports is a great way to improve your child's communication skills and increase group collaboration. Playing games such as Minecraft and Rocket League requires strategy from all players and will help develop the thought process behind problem-solving and critical thinking. Each session will consist of Minecraft and Rocket League curriculum.
