TAG Festival (August 2026 Fifth & Sixth Grade) - Think. Argue. Persuade.
Give your gifted student four exciting days to sharpen their voice, boost their confidence, and have fun thinking big! This dynamic summer experience is designed for students who love ideas, enjoy a challenge, and want to learn how to argue persuasively and think critically. Through hands-on activities like structured and spontaneous (SPAR) debates, public speaking practice, team challenges, and an introduction to Aristotle’s powerful pillars of Logos, Ethos, and Pathos, campers will learn how to build strong arguments, think on their feet, and communicate with impact. From debating real-world topics to friendly competitions and supportive feedback, students will grow their skills while connecting with like-minded peers who love spirited discussion—all in an engaging, encouraging environment that makes learning feel like play.

Coding/Programming
Explore the world of programming with Python! Learn one of the most versatile and beginner-friendly programming languages, used by professionals in diverse fields from software development to scientific research. In this course, students will be introduced to core coding concepts such as variables, loops, functions, and conditionals. To apply and practice the concepts, students will build interactive projects like Dodge the Meteors. Then, they’ll learn intermediate-level coding concepts like arrays, functions with parameters, and game physics! Applying these skills, they will unleash their inner game designers and build their own versions of classic arcade games like Brick Breaker, Bubble Pop, Star Invaders, and Pong. By the end of the course, students will not only have a solid foundation in Python but will also be able to design and develop their own arcade games, combining fun with practical coding experience. This camp combines content from both our beginner camp 'Python: Intro' and our intermediate camp 'Python: Arcade Games'. Needed Supplies: Bring your District Chromebook and charging cord. Aventureros del Español – Half Day Spanish Immersion Camp This is a half-day Spanish immersion camp designed to build Spanish proficiency and global awareness through engaging, hands-on experiences. No prior Spanish knowledge is needed but is also welcomed.
