Comic Book Creation (Gr. 2-6) by ESTEAM Learning Labs *Asynchronous
Join our talented Graphic Artists & Comic Book Guide to create your very own Heroes of Legend! Students will go through a series of video lessons that will take students from start to finish creating their own comic book character and story. The students will create and develop a Comic Book Hero and tell their unique story and will learn how to write, draw, and illustrate their stories to share with the world. This camp will also explore the history and lore of traditional comic books. Additional opportunities to work with your Comic Book Creation Guide will be available offline as an additional virtual session for an additional fee. Virtual Camps are online/anytime. Find your adventurous spirit in this fun, exciting world tour. Students will go through a series of video lessons that will take students AROUND THE WORLD as students visit each continent exploring maps, food, culture, music, animal, and so much more Additional opportunities to work on crafts, coloring pages and recopies are available offline/anytime. Extreme LEGO® Maker (Gr. K-5) by ESTEAM Learning Labs
Student participants will experience several exciting activities over the course of the week-long sessions. Every skill level, ranging from beginner to super geek, will need to fire up their brains and prepare to work in cooperative engineering teams. The Maker class includes the following: Coding Challenges, LEGO Master Builders, Simple Machines, Movie Making, LEGO Mosaic art, LEGO Ev3, NXT and WeDo Robotics systems. U-Tubers Unite! (Gr. 2-6) by ESTEAM Learning Labs *Asynchronous
Short Form Content Creation is where it is at!! Students will go through a series of video lessons that will take students from start to finish creating their own U-tube channel and content. Students will work on short-form content; gameplay commentary, lifestyle shows, product reviews, current events, etc…. Once the footage has been captured, students will work to edit and deliver the footage in an exciting show format that excites and captivates their audience. Any up-and-coming YouTuber will love this crash course in content creation! Additional opportunities to work with your YouTube Guide will be available offline as an additional virtual session for an additional fee. Virtual Camps are online/anytime. Requirements: iPad/iPhone/Android/Any device that you can make a movie with. LEGO® Movie Making (Gr. 2-6) by ESTEAM Learning Labs *Asynchronous
Our LEGO Moviemaking takes your child to the next level with their stop-motion animation skills. Students will go through a series of video lessons that will take students from start to finish creating their own LEGO Stop-motion Movie. Students will work to create a short story, draw it out, and build it with LEGO® Bricks, and then they bring it to life on film. Students can use LEGO Brick and kits that they have at home to create their very own movie sets and then create a movie complete with music and special effects. Additional opportunities to work with your LEGO Stop-Motion Guide will be available offline as an additional virtual session for an additional fee. Virtual Camps are online/anytime. Requirements: iPad/iPhone/Android/Any device that you can take a picture with. You will need to download this app called “Stop Motion Animation”. Engineering & Coding w/ LEGO® Robotics (Gr. K-5) by ESTEAM Learning Labs
For students of all levels! Our lessons will challenge each learner as we incorporate technology concepts, engineering principles, programming and imagination. Students will build robots, simple machines, LEGO® Brick creations and learn about science concepts all while having fun. They will be challenged with the LEGO® WeDo, LEGO® Mindstorms NXT & EV3 robotics. Construction Kits where they will build and program their own robotic creations!
