Round Rock ISD

Students will grow their vocabulary by learning new words from the perspective of their Greek and Latin ""root"" words. This tactic helps students grow their vocabulary faster and increases their ability to know the meaning of new words when they come across them on tests or in reading by quickly spotting familiar “roots.” Research shows that this ability helps students on standardized tests such as the ACT and SAT.
Supplies needed: A notebook or binder, two colored pens/markers/pencils, a regular pen/pencil
